Vishwakarma Pooja Vidhanam

    Vishwakarma Puja is done to appease Lord Sri Vishwakarma, the chief architect of the Universe and the divine engineer of the world. Lord Sri Vishwakarma is worshipped by engineers, architects, craftsmen, factory workers, and people in all professions as a mark of reverence to ensure a harmonious and prosperous career. Lord Sri Vishwakarma is also credited with the Sthapatya Veda, the science of mechanics and architecture.

    When to Perform Vishwakarma Puja?

    It falls on ‘Kanya Sankranti’ of Hindu Calendar. It is generally celebrated every year on the Gregorian date of 16 or 19 September which is on the last day of the Indian Bhado month, in the Solar calendar. This year it comes on 17th September 2021.
